Hey Fellas.
Looking to import the first PIV to Australia for our Bass tournaments, We have a dealer who i know will support the product as well as BCB in the States, I have been to the U.S.A twice previously and fished a few tournaments. Looking for a little help on overall performance of this hull as the one i rode in was a 2005 model. We have other U.S hulls in Australia but i was impressed by the PIV. All comments appreciated.

Present Boat Delivery and Schedule status

Bass Cat Boats always closes the week around Christmas (Christ's Birthday) for Inventory, Clean Up and then the New Years Holiday. We have intent to follow a similar pattern for that this year as well. We have not finalized that schedule trying to accommodate internal staff needs. Though access during the Holidays a limited schedule.

Winterizing

I have a question for anyone who might know after picking up my 1995 P2 from being winterized yesterday. The boat has Mercury 150 EFI with a little under 400 hours. In past years I have treated the small amount of fuel in the tanks and left the fuel line connected. This year, the shop that I used disconnected the fuel line and ran the fuel out of the motor. The boat will be in my garage unused for three to four months.

Is it ok to store it this way, or is it better to have some...

Southco Latches

Are the Southco Latches used on the newer boats equivalent to a Southco M1 Series? Fits a 2 1/2 " cutout and approx. 1 1/2" deep?

speicial caps for adding water to batteries

a while back someone suggested a cap and hose system that makes adding water to trollmotor batteries simpler. it consisited of caps that had tubing built into it so you could add water with a squeeze bottle.

anyone remember the name of that system?

Help with Sabre set up

Hello all, This is my first boat so I'm learning as I go.I have a 06 Sabre w/ an 08 Merc Optimax 150, the prop is a Turbo Lightning 23p. I have been reading posts of people getting in the lower to mid 60's, I have never been able to break 59, thats with me alone, and I weigh 160 lbs, half a tank of fuel and glassy water no wind. I am thinking of getting the blacklights that BCB has started stocking and installing on their boats. I was wondering if anyone has installed these lights themselves and what does it consist of. I am not real clear on the install process and would like to know what I am getting into before I purchase them. I am wanting to install them on my 07 Pantera II.

Rod Holders on the handrail

Sometimes I like to drift shad for Stripers,are the handrails sturdy enough to place a rod holder on?I have used them for tying up at the dock.Sure would be nice not to have to drill holes in my kitty.

Ram mount to hand rail

Has anyone used this style Mount ? Mounting the Ram mount to the hand rail, that way less or no holes at all will need to be drilled ? I was testing my new HDS 5 using my existing wires and it seems like rigged this way, facing a little forward it would be easy to see, and I won't have to drill into the console or top cap. Any negatives rigging this way ?

Does anyone know what the weight of an empty BassCat Baycat trailer would be? The credit union that the buyer of my Baycat is using, wants to know the weight of the empty trailer and they need to know the weight of the trailer with the boat/motor on it? I can look up the weight of the boat and the weight of the engine and do the math...if I have the empty trailer weight. Can anyone help me out. Seems like a very odd thing, his credit union says they need that for the Texas Bureau of Motor...

Trolling motor battery problem

I have a MG Tour 82, propack 3 charger, and Interstate deep cycle SRM-27 where installed by the dealer when I bought the boat new about a year and half ago. I fished yesterday in a moderate wind and by noon was having to run on high just to move at a snails pace. Got home and plugged the charger in, within 5 minutes one battery was charged and the other was charged in 1/2 hour. Any ideas why it would recharge so fast and runout so soon? It was plugged in all night and fully charged before...

Ram Mounting at the drivers side console

I'm taking my 03 Cougar to Sherm to have new console installed. i currently have a x17 at the console and will be upgrading to a newer color model, possibly a side scanner. Anyways, i'm want to mount the unit with a ram mount instead of flush mounting (mainly because i'm going to go with a large screen and it won't fit flush mounted) what size would ram mount 1.5 or 2 inch ball would i need and how long should the "riser/shaft" be.
