KP,
Yes, right now the fishing is awesome. I went out this morning (6:00am-8:00am), before writing that last post, and had a nice limit in about 1.5 hrs on a
mojo-rigged lizard. I tried a little different color scheme, as there are lots of fishermen everywhere. I used a watermelon lizard and dipped the tail in
orange dye; they are seeing plenty of green pumpkin with chartreuse tailes! I also went up the Magnum size (8-9 inches).

I caught them all in my cove in Linn...

I called Lowrance, got an "RA" number assigned and sent my unit back along with a check for $212.45. The "replacement" unit arrived about
two weeks later, and when I installed it on Friday, it only had 1/2 of the screen display this time. So the problem is not fixed. This is the first bad
experience I've had with Lowrance, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Of course, I have to send the "replacement" unit back and
start all over again...<img...

The past three days have been cold and rainy, but the bass fishing has really picked up. We have had a lot of rain, with water rising, and debris floating,
but the bass are moving shallow, and getting ready for the spawn. It takes about 2 hours (at least for me) to get a 5-fish limit, and the weights have been
picking up each day (from 14lbs to just shy of 20lbs today). I have only caught one with a bloody tail, and that was a 4lb Kentucky (spotted bass) I caught
yesterday. The...
