Has anyone had a problem lower a slidemaster 6" jp? I was about 3/4 about flush and I could only lower it about 1/4" is all, anymore and I would
hit the fittings on the hyd sterring piston as I tilted the moter up. Does anyone have a suggestion/fix for this? Do I need a bigger jackplate? Thanks for
the help!

There is a trim stop switch that mounts on the engine. It can be adjusted to stop the tilt and prevent damage.

Even at flush I couldn't even get my transom saver under it at flush. I was 3/4" high and wanted to go 1/4" below flush and had to go back up to
1/2" high. I will look at the stop but I don't think it will help cause I need to get my e-z swivel saver under it.
Could my jp be mounted to low on the back of the boat? Can the hyd sterring be rotated up some to allow clearance? Thanks BCB: Where is the switch located on the engine? I will play with it tomorrow. Thank you folks at BCB. You truely go above and beyond and I appreciate it so much!!!!

had the same problem on the passenger side. had to cut a small piece off it.

The switch is on the side of the engine bock if you have one. They are available and you can purchase one from Mercury, or BCB if you need one. Not all boats
have one, and they there has been a different time span of three sessions when they were and were not mounted by BCB.
