I'm not sure where the stay away from Stealth comment came from, but I"ve been running one in my boats for the past several years, and I've not had one minutes problem from any of them. They work as advertised, and their customer service, if you need it, is second to none. I have run it with Optimax 225's and 250's, in 36 volt, 3 battery systems, and it has not given me a minutes problem.

I've fished 2 and 3 days, hard, and never plugged up the AC charger. I will be the first to agree that if you make only very short runs, and stay on the trolling motor hard for hours, then the benefit will be less, but it still gives you options that no other system that I"ve seen does. It certainly outperforms the Stay N Charge system, based on my experience.

I will also tell you that there are more than a few Elite pros running Stealth ProPak systems, so they obviously can get the job done.
