I had to send my 1440 back to lowrance for repair. they are sending out a new unit. now my old one had a chrome front, I was just looking at lowrance web page
and the picture shows black front. I did not think about trying to remove it as it appeared to be part of the unit. was this chrome front a removable piece or
accesory?
