Has anyone tried shipping a trolling motor? How much of a pain was it?

Find a box large enough to ship it in and take some grease with you to the US Post Office. Take two grease jars if you go to UPS!

Hey judd I posted about a sabre with a 115Ho, Im thinkin of ordering one for stock just as a nice running good looking boat, not a fire breathing
monster,obviously.....I was really impressed with the one we drove at the meeting and now with 20+ more HP and more torque she should run good, but I need
opinions.......And shipping a trolling motor is very expensive, I have some new Minnkota boxes if needed, we just did a bunch of rigging for the shows......

Brannon,
Obviously, markets are regional but seems to me most want them maxed or close. If you have a market for a little boat that is affordable and they don't care about the fire breathing aspect it might be a good move. That Sabre did fine with that 115 that we drove you are right but most people haven't had the luxury of running one with the 115 so they might be skeptical. You know how you boat salesman are will say anything to sell a boat (LOL! j/k but it illustrates my point). Good luck. JL |
