proud of this boat. Bass Cat you all did a fantastic job. Thanks for all your support in the build process (pics) and delivery of my new kitty!

Just like your last one, we hope you enjoy it! Now you go get it broken in and then you can start tweaking it. The Fury might help that Yamaha if you need some
umphf!

Very nice! It's pretty cool to be able to see it in the building process and then see it completed.

Jag to P4 | ||
|
That is a beautiful boat. I'm currently in a 2000 Jaguar but I am very interested in selling it an purchasing a P4. I like the size and layout better of
the P4 than the boat that I have.
Please keep us updated as to how you like the boat once you've had the chance to get it out on the water! |

cb2structural,
Lots of folks really like the original Jag floor plan. It is one of those we occasionally heard "I wish you still had" things. |

Bass Cat Boats wrote:You can put me in that category. The original Jag is a great layout/boat. I'm glad to see some of the features of the original made it into the new Jag. Flyswatter - You may have one of the best color combo boats I have ever seen. It is beautiful. The PIV is an awesome boat - congrats and enjoy. Good fishing - Richard

Passenger Rod Padding?
|
Flyswatter,
When you get a chance can you post pics of the passenger rod padding? I noticed it on the pics of your new boat on BBC. Great looking boat! I have a Cougar now, but I looked real hard at the PIV! |

Flyswatter--
BEAUTIFUL boat! I also have a P4 w/ a minn kota and yamaha. Dont see many cats w/ that combo. I'd be curious to see how it performs, as most P4 numbers posted on here are w/ mercs. Congrats on the new boat! Boog |

Hey Tom, I forgot to send it to you but when I was at cat taking pics of your P4 in production their was a Cougar or Puma being built pretty much the same, but
they did not have the Color Psycho Tendencies that You and I have, I believe it had Rem Steel pins also and it was flipped color wise, dark on top light on
bottom, Like I said when you and I were playin with those colors Im gonna make one similar for us, Im thinkin Malibu Blue, Blue Fox for the Silver color and
probably Blue Black for pins, check that one out, Im thinkin of doing the Cap and hull insert in the Malibu Blue, hull and cap insert in the blue fox,Blue blk
pins, and a black bottom, blue/grey carpet will be perfect, med grey or charcoal seats with Twilight and bright blue or twilight and black vinyl accents, blue
fox consoles with a black trailer frame with blue fox fenders with bright blue and silver pins, how does that sound dude....????Brannon so do you like your
colors as much as when we were playin online 1 1/2 months ago???

Breaking in my Cat on a very hot day
|
Well, with all the excitement with this boat I went out today and logged 7 hours on the water. I have the wind blown sunburns to prove it. Youchhhhhhh.... It
was scorching by 4pm today. I went through almost two full tanks and a we bit of the kicker tank on the day. The kicker tank is one nice thing to have. For
those who inquired on my numbers I did get some opportunities to open her up. Wow! The performance with the 25P Fury in 93° temps has me yelling to mountain
tops how impressive this prop is. The Fury has so much performance. I think my Dealer/Mechanic/Saleserson, Scott Brech knows what he is doing setting up a boat
for my Hammer 200 HPDI. LOL. One thing for sure I'll be taking below prop measurements If change my prop height. I hit 71.8 mph on the GPS with medium
tackle load with slight current at my back with half a tank of gas, then hit 72 mph on the GPS an of hour later no current going north from the south end of
the Lay Lake damn area and ended the day hitting 72.5 with about 10 gallons in the tank. My last numbers where in an area of my lake that's like a wind
tunnel. Combine that with slight current at my back I hit 72.5 mph towards the end of my 1:15 minute run. All speeds were regulated to short burst due to break
in period. I could have run longer but did not feel comfortable doing it. You Wisconsin boys are chucking at me and rightfully so. LOL! I was very spoiled with
my Etec on my last BassCat (no break in period required). Although, I am quite happy with my HPDI just the same (one proud owner).
I'll take interior pics tomorrow per request . The best thing about tomorrow is I'll only have 2.3 hours left to my break in. That means on the water at 6am and off before 9am. Brannon, your a the color man beyond compare. Can't wait to see the final colors of your next boat. I'll check them out on the BCB Color build page per your post. For those who have a PIV you already know this. For people like me going up to this model I just never realized what an awesome boat it is. BassCat you have built one heck of a platform in the PIV. To think you have four more superior models above the PIV, wow! Can't imagine the incremental performance improvements. All I can say is I am quite content with what I have and look forward to many years with this kitty. Flyswatter
