Replacement Decals are in stock now, and all we are doing is replacing the lever decal on these models. You are loosing some mix of recirculation and freshwater in. Opting for either freshwater or recirculation on this valve. And the cost is the same on all valves.

Our valve is just a simple one throw valve, either empty or fill. We like things simpler!

arnoldjj, we hope you have been in touch with your dealer by now and received a new decal for your valve that applies to the valve you have. We feel you may have one of those valves. Also the cleat issue, we don't know what gives, though we do suspect that it was lifted for some reason after assembly and not retightened in error. This happens when parts are not received and have to be installed later, or orders are changed after mid production and we have to go back and install something.

Apologize for any error on the cleat, and we hope that you have your valve understood. We would never have figured this one out ourselves! Once a complaint was made we dug in and found the issue. Derned shipping folks grabbed the wrong part number.

On another note, it is amazing the number of individuals we have had who dislike this error valve. They like a simple throw valve. On the good side for that, the company has long been trying to get us to switch to the multi position valve, and now we know we are right is remaining with the original BCB valve. It seems people like the single throw valve much better. Not that it works different, it is just simpler to understand and not make an error.

No, it (cleat) can be reached from underneath the deck. It is a tight fit, though possible. Also possibly through the cowl vent. Though we feel it should be our problem and that of your dealership, not yours.

The decal is very simple, just drop an e-mail to Service@BassCat.com with your serial number and address, they will fire off a decal in the mail.

We would prefer to just replace your valve with the one that was supposed to be in it. There is a way to put a plug in the lower hole, though you will have to remove the screen.

Still since this is complicated to you, we would like to simplify it by having your dealer install the right valve.

This valve does work, though you have three positions instead of two (2). Obviously we also prefer the two position valve, though Flow Rite messed up and we had no idea. To us it just looked like the same valve as they appear identical.

We want to be sure that the valve is working properly and then figure the next step out.
