They depend on Info Link retail registrations.A company must be over 400 retail registrations unless they subscribe to the data. The first season we inquired we had about 300 retail registrations and that was below the automatic inclusion minimum for JDP.
Info Link gets the retail owners name, addy and serial number from your home state when you register in many states. There are some that don't provide and some of those are high registrations for BCB.
We subscribed to the data these past three years and acquired over 400 retail registrations the past two seasons with owners names attached this season.
You will notice that Champion and ProCraft are not in the study as their parent companies did not participate in the study. We have our suspicions on why Champions parent did not subscribe to the data, though that is another story.
