I currently have a X15MT Lowrance in my dash but thinking of changing to a Hummingbird 987. Anyone have any experience mounting the 987?
Thanks

Tom,
Both Ivana nd Rick have 987c SI units in their dashes, there is a small reverse bezel of aluminum made for this purpose. Though it depends on what you are after to consider the exchange. It is a unit wil fundamental purposes and Lowrance and Humminbird are polar opposites in this regard. Surely one of those two would be happy to answer your questions if you have some. BCB |

I have an 03 classic and mine is mounted on top and to the left on mine and it works great there. I have no trouble with the cover blowing off while I pull the boat down the road. It works great.
