Glynn, I have one mounted in my boat. I'll try to get some pictures up this afternoon after I wake up from the Dog Shift.

I like the system. I use it to keep those plastics that I know I'll use every time I go out handy in the front box. I also mounted it in the rod boxes but due to the limited width I just never found it very usable. Now, your rod boxes are quite a bit wider than mine are so you could probably get some use out of it. It is not a cure all to plastic storage but it does help me stay organized. I also hang spinner baits and buzz baits from it. I'll pick a few out that I think I'll use depending on the water I'm going to be fishing and hang them so they are at the ready.

It's not very expensive and its worth a try. Just don't even try to mount them using the 3M tape. Just drill a small pilot hole into the support beam under your storage lids and screw them into there. Very, Very simple.
