This could be for Phil A or whomever... I am running a 2008 FTD with a Mercury 250 pro XS.
I put a 27 Trophy Plus on the boat this winter when the H2O was frigid this winter... Now that Spring is here, I am going to put the 26 Trophy back on the boat. About the prop nut on this engine... When swapping out props, how often should a guy get a new prop nut??? It has a nylon insert so I am guessing at some point they wear out... I already know about applying the right amount of force to seat the prop via a torque wrench per the owners manual. Any help would be appreciated.
