we have an 07 puma which we got used last fall, as we are readying her for spring i am wondering what position exactly is ideal for the hydraulic jack plate?
there is a up, middle and down, with a position in between each of those.

We like to suggest the first 1/4 mark to start with. The half mark will sometimes run well on really calm water, though not in any chop and the engine needs to
stay lower on waves for bite.
